Journey to the Centre of the Christmas PuddingJourney to the Centre of the Christmas Pudding

‘Journey to the Centre of the Christmas Pudding’ is designed to communicate the Christmas story in an engaging and exciting way to children aged 7-11. Its aim is to raise questions about the relevance of the Christian Christmas story to their lives today.

Taking the children on a journey to the centre of Christmas and the central event of Christmas, the birth of Jesus, this resource enables you to help children encounter the true story of Christmas and consider what impact it may have on their lives.

The material can be used as a one-off event or as the first step in reaching out to the children in your community with the fact that God created them, loves them and wants to know each one of them personally.

‘Journey to the Centre of the Christmas Pudding’:

• will make a real difference by helping churches to share the great news of Jesus with the children around them.

• can be used as a one-off event to share the real meaning of Christmas and how special Jesus is.

• can act as the first step in reaching out to the children in your community with the fact that God created them, loves them and wants to know each one of them personally.

• is split into four sections, each lasting about 30 minutes—so the whole event should last no more than two hours.
