One of the greatest challenges we are finding though, is Transport. The ministry requires us to travel further a field and on an increasing basis, and as we are now regularly transporting a PA and projection system, exhibition equipment and other resources, the need for an Arise Ministries vehicle is becoming apparent.
For larger events we hire a van, but, particularly for the Just a ‘child? Regional Equipping Events, this is not financially viable and therefore we have been considering Arise Ministries getting its own vehicle. Further to these discussions, out of the blue we were recently given a sizeable gift towards a vehicle, which has now meant we are seeking to move on this as soon as possible.
We are aiming to raise at least £4000 to add to the money already given. This will cover payment of the car along with the maintenance for the first year. To do this we are asking people if they would give either:
• a gift - restricted for this use.
• an interest free loan - payable back over 3 years (36mths).
